How one person can feel that you don't really care about them. Because someone else is where all your concentration is. And how that other person can feel the exact same way.
But it's also interesting when you bring the future into it. When even though in the space of a week, potentially, concern for one person could be completely diminished in an act that you would do anything to prevent. Anything. It's interesting that it doesn't change anything. Regardless of if you'll be concerned for them in the future. You're still concerned for them now.
